Meet an Educator

  • Morgan County Schools would like to highlight our educators so that readers can learn a little bit about that teacher and gain an insight into what motivated that person to become a teacher.  One of questions that we asked teachers was "What lasting impact would you like to leave on the students of Morgan County?"  Below are their responses.  We hope that you enjoy!

    • I hope to leave my students with a custodian concept and life long learning.  That we are not only responsible for what has happened before us, but to what is happening to us now, and in the future.  The only way to attain a custodian concept is to be a life long learner.  Learning starts in the womb without it being our choice.  It is once we develop the consciousness that we are learners that we choose to continue to learn.  However, being a life long learner should be as natural as when it was not a choice.
