The MCS Food and Nutrition Department is self-sufficient and responsible for all of its bills.  The money we collect from students, visitors, and teachers, along with the money from reimbursable meals from the USDA pay for the cost of central office and cafeteria operations include:  food purchases, supplies, new equipment, equipment maintenance, salaries, and benefits, and everything in between! We do have a budget that we must abide by, and every item we use in the cafeteria has a value attached to it.
