    It is the policy and commitment of Morgan County Schools that it does not discriminate on the basis of race, age, color, sex, national origin, physical or mental disability, or religion.

    Discriminatory Harassment
    Harassment or intimidation of a client, staff person or guest because of that person’s race, age, color, sex, national origin, physical or mental disability, or religion is specifically prohibited and may be grounds for termination. Harassment and intimidation includes abusive, foul or threatening language or behavior. Morgan County Schools is committed to maintaining a workplace that is free of any such harassment and will not tolerate discrimination against staff members, volunteers or agency clients. Issues of discriminatory treatment, harassment, or intimidation on any of these bases should immediately be reported to the Executive Director or immediate supervisor and, if substantiated, prompt action will be taken.

    • Annual Notice of Nondiscrimination at CTE Facility
    MCCTC does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, disability, or age in its program or activities. MCCTC offers classes in many career and technical education program areas like Health Science, Agriculture, Information Technology, Manufacturing, Marketing, and Education & Training, among others under its open admissions policy. At the present time, an application process is not utilized to enter a program of study. For more information about particular course offerings, contact the Morgan County Career & Technical Center office at (423) 346-6285. Lack of English language proficiency will not be a barrier to admission and participation in career and technical education programs.

    • USDA Nondiscrimination Statement

    In accordance with Federal civil rights law and U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) civil rights regulations and policies, the USDA, its Agencies, offices, and employees, and institutions participating in or administering USDA programs are prohibited from discriminating based on race, color, national origin, sex, disability, age, or reprisal or retaliation for prior civil rights activity in any program or activity conducted or funded by USDA.

    Persons with disabilities who require alternative means of communication for program information (e.g. Braille, large print, audiotape, American Sign Language, etc.), should contact the Agency (State or local) where they applied for benefits.  Individuals who are deaf, hard of hearing or have speech disabilities may contact USDA through the Federal Relay Service at (800) 877-8339.  Additionally, program information may be made available in languages other than English.

    To file a program complaint of discrimination, complete the USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form, (AD-3027) found online at: http://www.ascr.usda.gov/complaint_filing_cust.html, and at any USDA office, or write a letter addressed to USDA and provide in the letter all of the information requested in the form. To request a copy of the complaint form, call (866) 632-9992. Submit your completed form or letter to USDA by:
