Due to the recent snow days, 9 weeks testing will now occur March 15 and 16, with exam make ups scheduled March 19. Report Cards will be distributed March 21.
Due to recent tragic events, the administration and leadership team of Central Elementary (CES) has reviewed our current morning and afternoon student drop-off / pick up procedures. We have spoken with supervisors from Central Office, consulted with our School Resource Officer, Wartburg City Police, and administrators from schools within Morgan County and in surrounding counties. In order to be in compliance with the Director of Schools and local law enforcement’s recommended safety procedures, we will be making necessary changes to various procedures related to student drop-off/pick-up, visitors, volunteers, eating with students, etc. A detailed letter will be sent home with your child today or tomorrow. Please check their bulldog folder/backpack for the letter. These changes will go in effect on Monday, March 5, 2018. Your cooperation and respect of these changes is greatly appreciated as we work to ensure CES is safer for everyone.
