Private eye Nick Noir is about to tie the knot with Selma, his devoted secretary. However, she has failed to fill Nick in on a few facts just before the wedding: Her parents want to host the wedding and believe Nick is a doctor! Hired by a divine Ms. Desiree to settle a debt, it turns out that Selma wasn’t the only one keeping secrets as he winds up on the front door of Wurst mansion. With a house full of suspects, the wedding seems to not be their biggest concern. Nick’s list expands as the house opens its doors: A hot dog king (Otto Meyer), a pensive partner (Cosmo Crepes), a stressed matriarch (Mimi Meyer), a shopaholic sister (Sissy Meyer), a living couch cushion (Ralph Rooney), two pushy wedding coordinators (Lila Soul and Lola Hart), three prickly bridesmaids (Angel, Candy, and Petunia), the hard-working butler (Gibbons), and the cook who can’t cook (Estelle Gherkins). As Nick tries to juggle both his job and his love, things seem to take a turn for the wurst.
